Abstract
In this chapter we investigate in greater detail some of the functions introduced in chapter 1. We also discuss the parabola, hyperbola and circle and describe some of their properties, together with those of the trigonometric functions sine, cosine and tangent. The radian, an alternative to the degree as a measure of angle, is also introduced. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
