Abstract

An apparatus designed to draw hyperbola and parabola is introduced in this paper, by simulating the intersecting process forming an intersecting line by a coin and a plane. Hence, it's possible to draw hyperbola and parabola, and the mathematical models to form the hyperbola and the parabola locus are established. Meanwhile, it also explains how to use the drawing apparatus.
