Abstract

This chapter elaborates on how to get out from under credit card debt and repair credit score. The ability to use credit card to borrow a bit of cash until the end of the month can be seductive. But it all leads to more debt and bad credit. One way is to take help from a debt counselling service. Legitimate agencies, such as the consumer credit counselling service, help people to negotiate with their creditors for more manageable payment schedules and for lower interest rates.
