Abstract

This paper describes tlte Norwegian investigations on juvenile herring\n(0-, I- and II-group) of the Norwegian spring spawning stock. The\ninvestigations were carried out in Norwegian coastal areas and in the\nBarents Sea in the period June 1984 - May 1985. Empahasis is made on\nthe distribution of the strong 1963 year class, and the distribution\nand migration of this year class is compared with an earlier strong\nyearclass. that of 1959.
