This chapter presents some guidelines on recognizing nutrient deficiencies in plants based on visual symptoms with or without the use of supportive tools for nutrient deficiency diagnosis (soil pH meter, soil fertility survey reports and maps, and indicator weeds). Photographs of plants exhibiting nutrient deficiency symptoms are provided for various crops.
