[The preliminary discussions for the effect and its influence factors of nasal endoscopic surgery for the treatment of nasal inverted papilloma].

OBJECTIVE: To discuss the method, effect and the influence factors of nasal endoscopic surgery for the treatment of nasal inverted papilloma. METHOD: Retrospective analysis the clinical data of the 23 cases who received nasal endoscopic surgery for the treatment of nasal inverted papilloma. RESULT: Only one case had recurrence after four months and was then cured by a combined treatment of external nasal approach and radiotherapy. The other 22 cases had no recurrence in the follow-up period. CONCLUSION: Endoscopic sinus surgery for the treatment of nasal inverted papilloma has satisfactory effect, so it can be regard as the first-selecting operation mode for the nasal inverted papilloma. However, it's essential to pay enough attention to such influence factors as choosing suitable case, particular preoperative examination and selecting suitable operation mode.
