Abstract
In this study,a research on the geochemical behavior of Permian carbonate rock and dark argillaceous source rock in Sichuan Basin is implemented.Results show that:(1) there is abundant organic matter in Permian source rock-for carbonate rock,the organic-matter types are mainly of sapropelic(type I and type II),and type III mainly for dark argillaceous source rock;(2) with a stronger hydrocarbon-generating ability,dark argillaceous source rock is the key hydrocarbon-generating stratum in Permian;(3) Permian source rock is almost in a stage from high to over mature,with dominantly producing gas;(4) it is predicted from a quantitative evaluation on source rock and analysis on resource potential that there is 2.00×1012m3 for Upper Permian bioreef gas reservoirs in Sichuan Basin;(5) the main Upper Permian resources are distributed in east Sichuan highly steep belt,Nanchong slope belt and Yilong-Pingchang depression belt;and(6) some evaluation belts with a high resource abundance include south Dabashan foothill belt,Yilong-Pingchang depression belt and north Dabashan foothill belt,second for east Chongqing depression belt,east Sichuan highly steep belt and Nanchong slope belt.So,the main exploration domains should be in Yilong-Pingchang depression belt,east Sichuan highly steep belt and south Dabashan foothill belt.And at present,Yilong-Pingchang depression belt should be the first one,second for east Sichuan highly steep belt and south Dabashan foothill belt,and third for Nanchong slope belt and east Chongqing depression belt.
