Abstract

Abstract Oxidation of the spirophosphorane (III) with CCl4 (II) in the absence of a protic nucleophile gives the cyclic phosphoric acid derivative (I), whereas in the presence of the nucleophiles (IV) the spirophosphoranes (V) are formed.
