Abstract
Objective:To investigate the drug resistance of escherichia coli to 15 frequently used antibiotics. Methods:A total of 158 isolates collected from urinary tract infection specimens were identified and the drug susceptibility tests of escherichia coli were performed. Results:Escherichia coli in urinary tract infection rated the top one(42.4%).Escherichia coli had low resistance rate to imipenem(0.0%),nitrofurantoin(5.9%) and amikacin(7.3%).Conclusion:Escherichia coli may be the major pathogen of urinary tract infection and its drug resistance is increased yearly.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
