Clinical Observation of Wind-Dispersing and Throat-Clearing, Lung-Arresting and Cough-Relieving Therapy for Laryngeal Cough

Abstract

Objective To observe the curative effect of wind-dispersing and throat-clearing, lung-arresting and cough-relieving therapy for laryngeal cough. Method Fifty-five subjects were randomized into two groups: treatment group in which 29 cases were treated by this therapy and control group in which 26 cases were treated by Zhike Syrup, with a course of 2~3 weeks. Result The effective rate was 89.66% in treatment group and 53.85% in control group, P 0.01. Conclusion This therapy is quite effective for laryngeal cough.
