Abstract

The complex organobentonite was synthesized from natural bentonite,octadecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride(1827)and polyacrylamide.The structure of the obtained organobentonite was characterized by IR,XRD,TEM and DSC-TGA.The results show that organic content is 40.08 %,and the distance between layers is increased to 0.45 nm from 0.34 nm.
