Cllnidipine in Treatment of Patients with Mild to Moderate Primary Hypertension

Objective:To assess the effects of cilnidipine in the treatment of patients with mild to moderate primary hypertension.Methods:Forty-three patients with mild to moderate primary hypertension received double_blind,crossover trail with cilnidipine or amlodipine for8weeks,and the changes of blood pressure,heart rate and blood biochemical value were observed.Results:The blood pressure reduced to normal level at the end of8weeks after the treatment.Blood FBG,TC,TG,HDL,K + ,Na + and Cr had no significant difference at the end of8weeks of the treatment compared with those before the treatment.Conclusion:Cilnidipine can treat patients with mild to moderate primary hypertension effectively,safely.
