Abstract
Based on the problems of occurrence of pine moth in soil and water conservation forest of Pinus tabulaeformis in west of Liaoning and the lower soil and water conservation benefits and economic benefits, the adjusting researches in species structure were done.More than 20-year experimental result showed, after adjusting of pure forests of Pinus tabulaeformis, the damage of pine moth was no more serious. The soil and water conservation benefits and the plant diversification have increased.Economic benefits have remarkably grown. The stands had pine caterpillars but not seriously.
