On Enhancing the Capabilities of Disaster Prevention and Emergency Response at Colleges

Abstract

After giving and analyzing some examples of inadequate capabilities of disaster prevention and emergency response exposed in Wenchuan earthquake-hit area schools,this paper points out the main capabilities of disaster prevention and emergency response that colleges should possess,and puts forward suggestions on how to prevent and respond to disasters and how to enhance the capabilities of disaster prevention and emergency response.
