Abstract
To summarize the diagnosis and experience of fine-needle aspiration cytology in thyroid tumors. A retrospective review of 1 933 cases (female 1 704, male 229) with thyroid tumors. This group included nodular goiter (560 cases), hashimoto's disease (415 cases), graves disease (283 cases), thyroid adenoma (206 cases), cystis (147 cases), simple goiter (131 cases), subacute thyroiditis (130 cases), thyroid carcinoma (37 cases) and else (24 cases). Various disease had different cytopathology character. [Conclusion] Fine-needle aspiration cytology is a valuable diagnostic method to thyroid tumors.
