Abstract
Developing secondary industry, especially the manufacturing industry, and taking the new type industrialization path is the objective requirement of the realities and the inevitable choice of economic development in Guizhou. In order that Guizhou can take the new type industrialization path, we should: 1. update the technology in resource-based enterprises, take effective measures in institutional arrangement, property right replacement and capital operation, and realize the operation of scale in resource development; 2. give play to the technological advantage of the Three Line enterprises and stimulate the entrepreneurship impulse of technology-based enterprises; and 3. increase investment in education, transforming the rich human resources into human capital.
