The Connotation of the Path to New-type Industrialization

As proposed in the thesis report of the CPC's 16th National Conference, our country is now taking a path of new_type industrialization, which is based on the status of our industrial development as well as the characteristics of the present time. The connotation of new_type industrialization path chiefly covers the following aspects. Firstly, industrialization should be promoted by information and vice versa, so as to achieve a big leap in the development of productivity. Secondly, the enhancement of quality and efficiency in economic growth should rely on the progress in technology and the advancement of the quality of workers. Thirdly, priority should be given to the sustainable development and the repetition of the developed countries in their industrialization be avoided. Finally, we should make best use of our human resources, and blaze an appropriate road for an industrialization with Chinese characteristics.
