On the Reasons of a Government’s Reputation Crisis

The image of a government has something to do with whether a public policy can be smoothly carried out, with social stability and with the public’s trust of the government. The crisis of a government’s reputation will have an impact upon the public’s attitude toward the government and possibly impair the government’s functions, or even threaten the government’s power and stability. In fact, any government’s reputation crisis can divide into three parts: government’s legitimacy crisis, government’s output crisis and government’s idea crisis, any of which may taint the government’s image. Recognition of these crises is conducive to produce a sharp image of the government.
