Abstract
The sand culture method and Micro-field trials were carried out to study the effect of EM seed-coating on seed germination and yield of maize using 10,50,100,150 time dilution of EM seed-coating agent. The results indicated that the treatments with EM seed-coating could promote the seed germination and seedling growth of maize and increase the germination percentage by 2%8.5% and then enhanced the yield. The effect of EM with ten time dilution was better than other treatments, which yielded 10.37% higher than the control.
