Abstract
Objective To observe the level of Th17 cells in the peripheral blood of Acute Coronary Syndrome(ACS) patients and explore the role of Th17 cell in the progress of ACS. Methods Mononuclear cells were isolated from peripheral blood from 25 ACS patients and 25 healthy blood donors. The level of Th17 cell and IL-17 were detected by Flowcytometry and ELISA,respectively. Results The frequency of Th17 cell and the level of IL-17 in the peripheral blood of ACS patients were significantly increased compared with normal controls [1.86±0.80% vs.3.27±1.14%,356±158 pg/ml vs.628±200 pg/ml].Conclusions Th17 cell may play an important role in the progress of Acute Coronary Syndrome.
