Diagnostic analysis of dynamic intravenous pyelography in ureter stone

Objective To evaluate the applied value of dynamic intravenous pyelography (DIVP) in diagnosing ureter stone.Methods Retrospectively reviewed the DIVP appearance and diagnostic status of 128 diagnosed patients who suffered ureter stone,and the results of ultrasonography (USG,112 cases),CT (59cases) were compared with it as well.Results As to the stones whose diameters are bigger than five millimeters,the accuracy of DIVP,USG and CT is 99%(72/73),94%(63/66) and 100%(38/38) respectively,there are no marked differences between DIVP and USG,or between DIVP and CT statistically (P0.05).As to the stones whose diameters are smaller than five millimeters,the accuracy of DIVP is 95%(52/55),obviously higher than USG 70%(32/46),there is marked difference between them in statistics (P0.01);the accuracy of CT is 95%(20/21),there is no difference between DIVP and CT in statistics (P0.05).Conclusion DIVP is a handy method to diagnose ureter stone ,it has a high accuracy,is noninvasive,especially for the little stone whose diameter is smaller than five millimeters.In fact ,it is a reliable method to diagnose ureter stone,it is worthy of being popularized;the traditional intravenous pyelography (IVP) can be instead of by it.
