Abstract
Objective compare value of plain scan of 16 layers of spiral CT low dosage on the kidney and on the ureter stone. Method collect 68 cases of clinically examined kidney and ureter stone cases from January 2003 ~ January 2009 of our hospital. Perform 16 layers of spiral CT plain low dosage scan and IVU for all cases and compare case load, quantity and ureteral obstruction condition of the kidney and ureter stone detected by the two methods. Perform statistic analysis to the two groups of results. Result during plain scan performed with 16 layers of spiral CT low dosage, concretions are found in 68 cases, kidney stone are found in 47 cases, ureter stone are found in 36 cases with 93 concretions; during IVU inspection, concretions are found in 49 cases, kidney stone are found in 32 cases, ureter stone are found in 27 cases with 69 concretions; there is significant difference in the concretion case load and concretion quantity discovered by the two methods through statistic analysis. Conclusion plain scan technology of 16 layers of spiral CT low dosage is the rapid, safe and precise method for diagnosing the ureter stone. It exceeds IVU.
