Pathologial diagnosis and differential diagnosis of epithelioid sarcoma

Objective To report and analyze the clinical behavior and pathological features and differential diagnosis of epithelioid sarcoma. Methods 13 cases of epithelioid sarcoma were studied with light microscopy and immunohistochemistry. Results Histologically, tumor cells of epithelioid sarcoma were consisited of malignant epithelioid cells and spindle cells. All cells were put in nodule and with central necrosis. All cases were positive for CK, EMA and Vimentin. Conclusions There are no specific symptoms and signs in epithelioid sarcoma. By combining with pathological features, epithelioid sarcoma could be diagnosised.
