Abstract
Objective To study the expressions of EGFR and NF-κB p65 in NSCLC and their correlation with the clinicopathologic features. Methods Three-step immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expressions of EGFR and NF-κB p65 in 63 cases of NSCLC and 20 of normal lung tissue. Results The expressions of EGFR and NF-κB p65 in the cancer were significantly higher than that in nomal lung tissue(χ2=17.24,28.61;P0.05).The expressions were associated with tumor differentiation,TNM staging, and whether or not with lymph node metastasis(Z=-2.920——2.292,P0.05),but not related to gender, age and type of pathology(P0.05). Conclusion The overexpressions of EGFR and NF-κB are related to the occurrence, cell proliferation, infiltration and metastasis of NSCLC,which can be used as an index to predict the prognosis and a new target of molecular therapy for this disease.
