The prerequisite work of research on literary meaning firstly depends on distinguishing effectively the essential ofvalueandmeaningfrom philosophy angle,and then proceeds to the next step definingliterary meaningnewly.On the basis of this,a last conclusion drawn by analyzing the question from two aspects of ontology ——theory of principle and theory of essence appears:reading is not an activity separating from literary meaning,but an activity inhering in literary meaning itself.So we can say,reading activity existents as an ontology event of enabling the literary meaning to keep being and emerge.
