The Expression and Clinical Significance of MMP9 in Ovarian Endometriosis and Adenomyosis

Abstract

Objective To study the expression and clinical significance of MMP9 in ovarian endometriosis and adenomyosis.Methods Immunohistochemistry was employed to detect the expression of MMP9 in the ectopic and eutopic endometrium of 39 patients with endometrisis and adenomyosis,and in nomal endometrium(27cases) in the control group.Results The expression of MMP9 in the ectopic endometrium of ovarian endometriosis and adenomyosis was no difference(P0.05).There was significant difference in MM99 expression between ectopic endimetrium and eutopic endimetrium(P0.05).There was significant difference in MM99 expression between the study group and control group(P0.05).Conclusion The increasing expression of MMP9 may be the key role in occurrence of endometriosis and adenomyosis.
