Abstract
To assess the capability of 4 kinds of macroporus adsorption resins for absorbing and separating total flavone in cactus. The optimum adsorption results were got by AB-8 resin. The evaluation indexes included total flavone adsorption capacity, total flavone content, and recovery rate. The UV spectrophotometric method was used in determination of total flavone. The technological condition of adsorption and separating total flavone in opuntia dillenii Haw:the extract concentration was 15mg/mL,the maximum adsorption capacity was 18.6mg/mL,the adsorption velocity was 5mL/min,the eluting reagent was 70% ethanol, the dose of the reagent was 6 times as much as the column volume, and the resin could be used three times repeatedly.Total flavone content can be increased from 29% to 76%,with a total flawone recovery rate of 86% following the separation and purification by AB-8 resin. The results indicated that AB-8 resin can be used in separation and purification for total flavone in opuntia dillenii Haw.
