On the Protection and Inheritance of Guizhou Folk Music——Take the Folk Music of Miao Nationality in Qiandongnan as an Example

Guizhou is a multi- ethnic province which certainly has the multi- ethnic musical cultures. In rich and colorful Guizhou musical cultures. the folk music of Miao nationality is a miracle. Researching and protecting it has great implications and influences the development of Chinese national music. By analyzing the background and characteristics of Miao folk music in Qiandongnan,where most of Miao live,this paper attempts to propose the ways to protect and inherit the culture of Guizhou Miao folk music.
