Abstract

Ke dao,which is translated into spousal by Mandarin,and also called song stick,is popular in Shibing in Qiandongnan of Guizhou.It is the only one that has been preserved as an ancient way of recording events by carving on wood,which is also the Miao's unique folk music culture from generation to generation,and is also a valuable national folk culture heritage in China.
