Abstract
The ternary chitosan graft copolymer was synthesized with chitosan,AM and DMDAAC as raw material and ammonium persulfate as the initiator. The optimal conditions were as follow, reaction temperature was 50℃,concentration of ammonium persulfate was 6mmol·L-1,the ratio of chitosan to AM was 1:3(m/m),the ratio of AM to DMDAAC was 3:3(m/mL),reaction time was 3 hours.Under the condition, the grafting percentage, cationic degree of graft copolymer were 287.5%,26.7%.The results of flocculation experiments indicated that graft copolymer had excellent flocculating capability.Graft copolymer had lesser dosage, higher removal rate of turbidity than Cts,PAM,PAC.
