Abstract
Objective Preliminary study was made to observe the relationship between idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura(ITP) and Helicobacter pylori(Hp) infection, and to observe whether or not the eradication of Hp in favor of enhancing the number of platelets. Methods 41 cases of patients with ITP;40 cases of normal controls.Helicobacter pylori infection were diagnosed by ImmunoCard HpSA.23 cases of Hp-positive patients with ITP in the treatment of ITP at the same time increase with anti-Hp treatment,17 cases became negative;Among the 41 cases of ITP patients, those 18 Hp-negative ITP patients were used as control, and their platelet count were compared with the 17 Hp-positive patients after treatment. Results The ITP group and the normal control group of Hp-positive infection rates were 56.10%(23/41),35.0%(14/40),Hp-positive ITP group was significantly higher(P 0.05).23 cases of Hp-positive patients with ITP anti-Hp treatment, negative in 17 cases,6 cases of non-negative,negative 17 patients in the control group and 4-8 weeks after treatment platelet count had a significant difference, after HP eradication the platelet count with obvious restoration. The patients of no-eradication of Hp infection with no significant changes in the number of platelets. Conclusion ITP patients infected with Hp-positive rate is higher than normal;Hp infection in patients with positive treatment given to the eradication of Hp infection is conductive to enhancing the number of platelets,ITP patients should be routinely detected Hp.
