Abstract
The effects of biological agents against the diamondback moth(DBM),Plutella xylostlla(L.),were evaluated in the light of the theories and approaches of population control system. The results indicated that the azadirachtin, abamectin and Bt played more control roles to DBM.The I-value(Index of population trend) were above 1.00 when biological agents were applied only once. However, combined efficacy of two measures(i.e azadirachtin+abamectin, azadirachtin+Bt) had significantly effects to DBM.The I-value was much lower than 1.00.At the same time, biological agents were safe to natural enemies in vegetable fields.
