A Comparative Study of the Translator's Subjectivity in Translation Variation Theory and Deconstructionist Translation Theory

The death of the author deconstructs the central position of the source text,indicating the translator's subjectivity in analyzing the source text and organizing the target text as a reader.In the translation variation theory,the translator variates the source text as a subject in the process of translation.The difference is that in deconstructionist translation theory,the translator adopts the strategy of foreignization to get closer to the pure language which in turn restricts the translator's subjectivity while in translation variation theory,the translator adopts the strategy of domestification to transmit messages effectively and in this process,the translator's subjectivity is restricted by the target readers.
