Abstract

Some recent developments in the field of polymer/silicate intercalation nanocomposites are briefly reviewed.The structure and properties of layered silicates,thermodynamics of the forming process of the nanocomposites are described.Special attention is paid to the situation and technical developments of nylon, polypropylene-silicate intercalation nanocomposites.
