Abstract
Polymer layered silicate nanocomposites(PLSN)have unique structure as well as mechanical, thermal and gas/liquid barrier properties than their conventional counterparts. They have an important role in scientifical research and technical application. In this paper, the advance in polymer-based nanocomposites preparation by intercalation was evaluated in the several years and the schematic structure of layed silicate, the choice of the interaction reagent, the method of preparation etc were summarized. The thermodynamics and kinetics in preparation and testing methods were also analysize. In the end, their properties and application were discussed.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
