Abstract

The optimum technique conditions of paeoniflorin from the Radix Paeoniae Rubra by ultrasonic extraction with ethanol were studied.Ethanol was used as extraction solvent to extract paeoniflorin by ultrasonic. The content of paeoniflorin was determined by HPLC and the yield of paeoniflorin is as the detective marker.Orthogonal experiment was carried out to investigate four influential factors including the ratio of ethanol to sample, extraction time, times and ethanol concentration. The optimum conditions are as follows: adding 6 times amount of 70% ethanol solution, ultrasonic extracting for 3 times, and one hour every time, through riesidual analysis and variance analysis. The extraction time is the most effective factor for extraction yield. The extraction yield of paeoniflorine is 36.04 mg/g under the optimum conditions.
