The observation of the therapeutic effect of Mifepristone to 118 cases with uterine fibroids

Objective To observe the therapeutic effects of mifepristone to uterine leiomyoma.Methods 118 cases with uterinefibroids cured in our hospital during December 2005 and December 2009 diagnosed by gynecological gynecological examination and B-ultrasound confirmed were treated with Mifepristone,at night bedtime Mifepristone 10mg,once a day for taking a course of 3 months.Results During the treatment,all of the patients were of amenorrhea,the averaged reduced rate of the uterus was 34.86%,that of uterinefibroids was 51.40%.The level of LH,FSH,P,E2 were significantly lower than that before treatment,and its difference was statistically significant(P0.05) .Patients’liver and kidney functions were normal.Conclusion Mifepristone has a good efficacy for futerinefibroids,withless side effect,which is an ideal conservative treatment.
