Abstract

Objective To explore the value of the full-field digital mammography combined with high-frequency ultrasonography in the diagnosis of non-typical breast carcinoma. Methods Retrospective analysis of 64 cases of non-typical breast carcinoma by Pathologically confirmed breast cancer after surgery, those cases all examined by full-field digital mammography and high-frequency ultrasonography. Results Only by full- field digital mammography,33 cases were diagnosed breast cancers, the diagnostic accordance rate was 51. 56%,including 10 cases of simple microcalcifications. 26 cases were diagnosed breast cancers by high-frequency ultrasonography with 40. 62% diagnostic accordance rate. 21 cases were diagnosed accurately through combination of the two methods,so the diagnostic accordance rate was increased 88. 89%. Conclusion The full-field digital mammography combined with high-frequency ultrasonography enhances the diagnosis rate, and reduce the rate of missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis rate.
