On the quality-oriented educat ion in higher education

This paper discusses the necessity and basic features of quality-oriented education. And it points out the shortcomings of the traditional education. So the authors put forwards that improving the quality of the teachers is the premise of spreading the quality-oriented education in the full-scale and dealing with the relationship between the quality-oriented education and the traditional education properly is crucial. So if we want to develop the quality-oriented education properly, we must change the traditional education concept. Firstly, sticking to the concept of human being is the top priority and constructing open cultivation model. Secondly, paying more attention to the moral education and cultivating healthy mental quality to suit the development of the society. Thirdly, trained the creative talents. Last but not least, strengthening the stage of practicing and increasing the level of communicating with the society.
