Abstract
To study the changes of serum levels of IgG and IgG 4 in patients with clonorchiasis before and after treatment, the IgG/IgG 4 serum levels of 80 cases of clonorchiasis were determined by means of dot-ELISA.It was found that the positive rates of IgG and IgG 4 before treatment were 96.25% and 97.5%,while those after treatment were 65.22% and 28.26% respectively. In the cases after treatment, the positive rates of IgG and IgG 4 in symptomatic patients were 92.30% and 69.23%.while those in asymptomatic patients were 54.54% and 12.12% respectively. It concludes that IgG 4 is an important parameter for evaluating the cure of clonorchiasis.
