Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of the application of high quality nursing service in the clinical nursing path of total hip replacement. Methods We selected 200 patients who were hospitalized in the department of orthopedics in Jiangsu Subei People's Hospital from April 2012 to April 2013,randomly divided into 100 cases in the experimental group and 100 cases in the control group. Patients in the control group received routine nursing,besides,the patients in the experimental group still received nursing care according to the clinical nursing pathway which is based on high quality nursing service. To compare the differences of two groups by t test and likelihood ratio χ2 test. Results the average hospitalization days and the incidence of complications of patients in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group,which was statistically significant difference(P0.05),and the awareness rate of health education and satisfaction of patients was higher that of the control group(P0.05),but there was no significant difference between the two groups of medical expenses(P0.05). Conclusion Clinical nursing path based on high quality care can effectively shorten the average days of hospitalization of patients,reduce the incidence of complications,enhance the awareness of health education for patients,and improve patient satisfaction. Consequently,the CNP can provide comprehensive,systemic and holistic nursing for patients,and it is worthy of clinical application and popularization.
