The Analysis and Evaluation on the County Economic Development in Hebei Province

Abstract
County economy,the foundation of national economy,plays an important role in the steady development of the society.Therefore it is significant to study its development.With the statistics of all counties in Hebei province in 2003,nine indexes are applied to analyze,by main composition analysis and cluster analysis,the economic development levels of 136 counties and county-level cities in Hebei.136 counties are divided into five economic levels,or two geographical areas: the economic developed southern area and the economic developing northwestern area.The factors of natural resources,natural conditions and social economic conditions are analyzed to investigate the reasons.
