Abstract
Objective To evaluate the safety and feasibility of minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy(MPCNL) in treating solitary kidney calculi.Methods To investigate the clinical results of 8 cases with solitary kidney calculi treated with minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy from August 2005 to August 2007.Results All cases were achieved by one - stage minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy.Single tract was used for all cases.No major complications occurred in these cases.Conclusions Minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy is safe and effective in treating solitary kidney calculi with less trauma and shorter convalescence.
