Expression and significance of heparanase in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and cervical carcinoma

Abstract

[Objective]To investigate the expression and significance of heparanase in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and cervical carcinoma[Methods]Immunohistochemistry SP method was used to detect hepavanse expressions in 56 cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CINⅠ12,Part CINⅡ26,Part CINⅢ18)and 54 carcinoma of 20 cases with lymph node metastasis,34 cases without lymph node metastasis.[Results]Heparanse expression was respectively 33.33%,38.48% and 44.44% in CINI,CINⅡ和CINⅢcervical intra-epithelial neoplasia group,48.14% in cervical carcinoma.There was no significan differente between cervical intra- epithelial neoplasia and cervical carcinoma(P＞0.05).[Conclusion]Heparanase expression has no correlation with the genesis and development of carvical carcinoma,but it is related to metastasis of cervical carcinoma of the cervix.
