Abstract
Eight differential hosts of main maize cultivars in Heilongjiang province were used to,determine the pathogenicity heterogeneity to the strains of maize curvularia (Curvularia lunata (Wakker) Boed.) from different regions. The results showed that there were obvious differences of pathogenicity among the different strains, and the different strains could produce different types of disease spots on the same differential host. There was bigger differences of disease spots in their size, shape, brim color and halo size. That explained why there was distinct phenomenon of pathogenicity heterogeneity among the strains.
