Abstract
It is an important way to enhance efficiency of products design to establish standard parts library in CAD system.There is no standard parts library in current CAD system.The paper focuses on the development of clamp CAD system,with the adoption of parameterized technology and feature modeling technology,by way of distributed database Oracle,as well as second development tool UG/Open API,standard parts library is established.It has been well applied in the design of clamp CAD system,satisfactory effects are obtained.
