Abstract

To eliminate the matrix copper interference in determination of gold,nitric acid was used to dissolve copper from composition brass,and gold was dissolved by aqua regia.Gold content was determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry(FAAS) in media of 5% hydrochloric acid.The method is simple,fast and accurate with relative standard deviation(RSD) 0.5%.
