Abstract
On the basis of consulting abundance of domestic and overseas documents about water environmental numerical simulation,this article had investigated especially on those research that used the SIMPLE and SIMPLE like algorithm to carry on the numerical simulation and proposed to improve method at the same time.From three aspects including the speed of convergences,correcting equation and the adopted grid form,the research development of SIMPLE and SIMPLER、SIMPLEC、SIMPLEX and so on,had been discussed.At last,on the basis of the discussion above,the article had analyzed and predicted the development trends of the SIMPLE and SIMPLE like algorithm.
