Abstract
The terminology of subsidy has different shades of meaning in different context. The legal condition of “subsidy” under WTO law is the key factor. This article is to clarify the inaccurate understanding about the term “subsidy”and,to avoid some errors in policy due to the misunderstanding of the terminology of subsidy.
