Abstract

Objective To determine the methods and efficacy of flexible open loop anterior chamber intracoular lens (AC IOL) in implantation. Method With defective or without posterior capsule, primary implantation of the AC IOL was perfarmed in 10 eyes and secondary implantaion in 34 eyes.All patients were followed up for 6 ~ 12 months. Results Of the 44 eyes,37(84.09% ) had a final visual acuity of 0. 5 or better. Conclu sioo The flexible open-loop AC IOL is safe and efective for primary or secondary IOL impalntation.
